Rambha was born as Amritha in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India on June 5th 1976. She is also known as Vijaya.Rambha is an Indian Bollywood actress. She has acted in lot of South Indian films and some of the Hindi movies.Ramba is very famous in south indian film industry.Rambha made her debut as an actress in Aa Okkati Adakku and then was seen opposite Vineeth in the Malayalam films Sargam (1992) and Champakulam Thachan (1992).She has also produced a movie called Three Roses which is a remake of the Hollywood movie Charlie's Angels. This movie starred Jyothika, Laila and Rambha and performed badly. It was a great loss for the actress, forcing her to sell her house in Chennai to pay the debt.
In Bollywood, Rambha was seen opposite stars like Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Sunil Shetty, Kamal Hassan and Govinda.
